The Padrón 1926 Serie released in 2002 commemorating the birth year of the company patriarch, an award-winning blend that had been prized by many cigar critics, aficionados, and enthusiasts. This 40th Anniversary edition may be the best cigar the Padróns have ever made. The equivalent blend in the natural wrapper has received Top Cigar of 2014 by Cigar Aficionado and this maduro dressed cigar is no short of perfection.
A Nicaraguan Puro, each leaf used in this cigar is a minimum of 5 years old yet has the touch of a fine silk enabling a smooth and thorough draw when lit. Skilfully handcrafted in a box pressed torpedo format adding depth and the utmost complexity to the smoke.
Slightly stronger than Padrón Anniversary series, this cigar unleashes rich aromas of chocolate notes, spices and robust espresso tones. Beautifully laced with an underlying earthiness and leather touches. The Maduro wrapper finishes this enjoyment with a delightful balance of sweetness making it an indulgent yet satisfying smoke. Memorable and rewarding, leaving a lasting impression for the connoisseur.
